Our monthly meeting will be on Wed. April 8th at the Farmington Senior Center<\/strong><\/h1>\r\n

Join us for Water Quality Part 2:<\/strong> Plant Nutrition, Fertilizer and Supplements presented by Christian Lesage!<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Part 2 Plant Nutrition and Supplements will focus on tailoring your fertilizer regime to your water source and the long-term effects of your plant nutrient program on your plants, with an extensive discussion on the different types of supplements and products available to boost plant growth. We encourage everyone to bring in water samples for testing the pH and EC as a starting point for understanding your water quality.<\/p>\r\n

Please note our new earlier meeting time, doors will now open at 6pm, the business meeting will start at 6:30, and the presentation will begin at 7pm!<\/em><\/p>\r\n

Membership is open to anyone interested in orchids and includes a monthly newsletter. Meetings are held monthly on the second Wednesday of the month, alternately between the Farmington Senior Center and Cheshire Senior Center, September through June. Featuring wonderful speakers from around the country (and world!), many also bring plants for sale, we hold monthly raffles consisting of member donated plants. There are opportunities to volunteer for many exciting orchid related activities and participate in COS sponsored field trips, orchid shows, clinics, workshops, and more. \u00a0JOIN US!\u00a0 You’ll be glad you did.<\/p>\r\n
