Topic:\u00a0 Native American Orchids <\/strong><\/p>\n Speaker:\u00a0 Jean Stefanik<\/strong><\/p>\n Jean Stefanik will be speaking on Native Orchids with a focus on the species.\u00a0 Since it is almost warm it will be good to have a fresh eye on where and how to fine these native treasures.<\/p>\n Jean is an educator and naturalist as well as an accredited AOS (American Orchid Society) judge. \u00a0\u00a0 Her primary passion is for species orchids, and the habitats to which\u00a0 have adapted\u00a0 throughout the world.\u00a0 She\u00a0enjoys traveling,\u00a0 photographing orchids and other plants and animals in nature, and meeting\u00a0people from other cultures.\u00a0 \u00a0 North American travels have ranged from the Arctic in Canada to California, from New England and the Maritimes, from Arizona to the Florida swamps including extremely rare ghost orchids.
