After careful discussion, the Connecticut Orchid Society\u2019s Board has canceled our April 4 &amp; 5, 2020 Show and Sale.<\/p>\n<p>The board believes this is prudent to ensure the safety of our vendors, society members and guests from possible transmission of this serious virus. We look forward to next year\u2019s show and we hope to see you all there!<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your understanding as we navigate this fast-changing situation.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Connecticut Orchid Society<\/strong> will hold its own <strong>American Orchid Society<\/strong> sanctioned <strong>orchid show o<\/strong>n <strong>Saturday, April 4th (12pm-5pm) and Sunday, April 5th (10am-4pm)<\/strong>.\u00a0 The location is the <strong>Bristol Senior Center at 240 Stafford Avenue<\/strong>, in Bristol, Connecticut.\u00a0 Early admission\/entry is available for photographers on Sunday, April 5th (9-10am).\u00a0 Plants for your shopping pleasure are available from the following vendors: <strong>White Plains Orchids, J&amp;L Orchids, orchidPhile, Frosty Hollow Orchids and More<\/strong>.\u00a0 Potting materials and supplies will be available.\u00a0 Divisions of plants from Society member\u2019s collections will also be available for purchase.\u00a0 Educational and potting materials will also be available.<\/p>\n<p>The show theme is <strong>&#8216;Spring into Orchids&#8217;<\/strong> and attendees will have the opportunity to purchase plants from orchid <strong>vendors<\/strong>, attend informative <strong>lectures<\/strong> on orchid growing, and enjoy the beautiful bounty of <strong>orchid displays<\/strong> on hand.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>More to follow!\u00a0 Stay tuned!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>-*- CANCELED DUE TO COVID19 CONCERNS -*- The COS hopes you and your families are well.\u00a0 As we are all aware, the Covid-19 virus is moving at a rapid pace.
